We are excited to share the results of our latest market research! Over the past weeks, we successfully surveyed more than 100 people to gain deeper insights into their experiences and satisfaction with current prosthetic solutions. Among our respondents was none other than a UCI Para-cycling Road Vice World Champion, along with many other athletes and individuals who rely on prosthetics in their daily lives.
Our survey was conducted in three languages—German, English, and Spanish (a huge shoutout to Txell for helping with the Spanish version!). We reached participants from around the world, primarily through Instagram, where we connected with an engaged community eager to share their perspectives.
To generate more awareness and engagement, we also launched a push-up challenge: our goal was to complete 20 push-ups before 100 people finished the survey. The challenge took an unexpected turn—we lost! The 100 responses rolled in much faster than we managed to complete the push-ups, highlighting the incredible interest in our project.
The survey results reinforce the importance of our mission. They provide valuable data on where existing prosthetic solutions fall short and confirm the demand for more comfortable, affordable, and sports-friendly alternatives. This feedback is incredibly motivating as we continue developing SoftSocket to better meet the needs of athletes and active individuals with limb differences.
