Last week, Cara attended OTWorld Leipzig, one of the leading trade fairs for prosthetics and orthotics. The event provided a great opportunity to see the latest innovations and assess where SoftSocket fits in the market.
A key takeaway was seeing competitors like Koalaa and Macu4 showcase their solutions. Their approaches offered valuable insights into different prosthetic designs, helping us refine our own vision for more accessible and sports-friendly options.
Beyond the exhibitions, the event was a fantastic networking opportunity. Meeting other entrepreneurs was especially reassuring, as they had faced the same challenges and milestones we are navigating now. At the after-event, Cara exchanged ideas with fellow innovators and discussed the challenges and opportunities in prosthetic development. These conversations reinforced the need for continued innovation in the field.
Attending OTWorld Leipzig provided both inspiration and practical insights. We’re excited to integrate what we’ve learned into SoftSocket as we continue to develop better solutions for athletes with limb differences.
